Website Privacy Policy

How this website handles the small amount of data it touches.

This policy covers the website at digitalzillions.io and its support form. Our apps are covered by their own policies, linked from the privacy index — where an app has no separate policy, it is because the app collects nothing at all.

The short version. We set no cookies, run no analytics and embed no third-party trackers. The only personal data we ever receive is what you type into the support form, and we use it solely to answer you.

1. Who we are

This website is operated by DGZI Ltd Trading as DigitalZillions ("we", "us"). For anything in this policy, including any request about your data, contact us through our support form. We are the data controller for the information described here.

2. What we don't do

  • We do not set cookies on this website.
  • We do not run analytics of any kind — no Google Analytics, no self-hosted equivalent.
  • We do not embed advertising networks, tracking pixels, social widgets or session recorders.
  • We do not load fonts, scripts or stylesheets from third-party CDNs. Everything is served from our own server.
  • We do not build profiles, and we do not sell or rent your data to anyone, ever.

3. What we do collect

Support messages

If you use the support form, we receive the name, email address, product selection, subject and message you type, along with the page you sent it from. We use this only to answer you and, where relevant, to fix the problem you reported. We do not add you to any mailing list.

Support correspondence is kept while the conversation is open and for a short period afterwards in case you reply again. Messages are delivered to private infrastructure that we operate ourselves rather than to a third-party helpdesk.

Server logs

Our web server records ordinary request logs: the IP address making the request, the time, the page requested, the response code and the user agent. These exist to keep the service running, to identify abuse and to understand broad traffic patterns. We keep them only as long as they are useful for those purposes. They are never used to build a picture of an individual.

Spam protection

The support form is protected against automated abuse. We use a number of techniques to tell genuine messages from automated ones, and we would rather not set them out in detail here — doing so mostly helps the people we are guarding against. What we can tell you is that they all run on our own infrastructure: there is no third-party challenge or captcha service in the way, nothing to click, and no outside company receiving your IP address in order to decide whether you are a person.

4. Legal basis for processing

Under the UK GDPR and EU GDPR, we rely on:

  • Legitimate interests — answering support requests you send us, keeping the site available, and preventing abuse. We have considered your rights and freedoms and believe this processing is what you would reasonably expect when contacting us.
  • Legal obligation — where we must keep records to comply with the law.

5. Who else sees your data

Our infrastructure providers necessarily process data on our behalf — the hosting provider for the server this site runs on, for instance. They act as processors under contract and are not permitted to use your data for their own purposes. We do not otherwise share your data with anyone.

Downloading our apps from Apple's App Store is a transaction between you and Apple. We receive aggregate sales figures from Apple, never your identity. Apple's handling of your data is governed by Apple's privacy policy.

6. Where your data is held

Our infrastructure is located in the United Kingdom, the European Union and North America. Where data is processed outside the UK or the European Economic Area, it is done under an appropriate transfer mechanism such as the UK International Data Transfer Addendum or EU Standard Contractual Clauses.

7. Your rights

You have the right to ask us for a copy of the personal data we hold about you, to have it corrected or erased, to object to or restrict our processing of it, and to receive it in a portable format. Because we hold so little, most requests are answered within days.

Send the request through our support form. If you are unhappy with our response, you can complain to the UK Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk, or to your local supervisory authority in the EEA.

8. Children

This website is not directed at children under 16, and we do not knowingly collect personal data from them. If you believe a child has sent us personal data, contact us and we will delete it.

9. Changes to this policy

If we change this policy we will update the effective date at the top of this page. Material changes will be summarised here so you can see what moved.
