1. Introduction
Vine Vault, developed by DGZI Ltd Trading as DigitalZillions ("we", "us", "our"), provides quick access search functionality for Amazon listings, with a particular focus on the Amazon Vine programme. You can save your favourite searches and run them again with a single click.
We are deeply committed to your privacy. This policy explains our approach to handling data.
Vine Vault is designed with user privacy as a core principle. We do not collect, store or transmit any personal data or login information on our servers or systems.
2. Data we do not collect or store
To be absolutely clear: DGZI Ltd does not collect, store or have access to any personal data, login credentials, search history, saved searches or any other user-generated data arising from your use of Vine Vault. That includes, but is not limited to:
- Your name, email address, or any other identifying information from your Amazon account.
- Your Amazon login credentials.
- Your search queries or their results.
- Your saved favourite searches.
- Any usage data or analytics relating to your activity within the app.
- Device-specific information such as IP address or device identifier.
3. Data storage on your device and in iCloud
All data generated by your use of Vine Vault — your saved searches, for instance — is stored locally on your device and remains under your sole control.
Vine Vault also offers the option to store your saved searches in your personal iCloud account. That functionality is managed entirely by Apple's iCloud service and your own iCloud settings. We have no access to your iCloud account or anything stored in it. When you choose iCloud storage you are using Apple's infrastructure, and the privacy of that data is governed by Apple's policies and your settings.
The benefit is that your saved searches follow you to other devices signed in to the same iCloud account. That synchronisation happens between your own devices via iCloud — never through our systems.
4. Login with Amazon
Vine Vault uses "Login with Amazon" so the app can interact with Amazon's services. When you sign in, you are dealing directly with Amazon's authentication system.
- We do not receive or store your Amazon login credentials.
- We do not receive or store any personal information about you from Amazon.
The process is used solely to establish a secure connection between the app and Amazon's services so that search can work. Your use of Amazon's services through Login with Amazon is subject to Amazon's own privacy policy and terms of service.
5. How we use your data
We don't. Because we collect and store nothing, there is nothing to use for personalisation, analytics, marketing, targeted advertising, or sale to third parties.
6. Data sharing
Since we hold no user data, we share no user data.
7. Your choices and controls
Amazon sign-in. You can sign in to Amazon within the app to enable search, or sign out to disable it. Signing out simply stops the app performing Amazon searches; it does not affect anything stored on your device or in your iCloud.
Local data. Anything stored on your Mac can be managed or deleted through your operating system, or by uninstalling the app.
iCloud data. Data in your iCloud account is managed entirely by you through your device's iCloud settings. You control what is backed up and can delete it at any time.
8. Children's privacy
Vine Vault is not intended for use by children under 16. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 16 — as we do not collect any personal data at all. If you are a parent or guardian with a concern, contact us through our support form.
9. International users (GDPR and CCPA)
While we do not collect personal data, we recognise that users in the European Union and United Kingdom are protected by the GDPR, and users in California by the CCPA.
Our commitment to not collecting or storing your personal data aligns directly with the data minimisation and privacy-by-design principles those regulations advocate. Even though we hold nothing, you retain rights in respect of any processing carried out by third parties such as Amazon or Apple iCloud, should you choose to use their services.
10. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. We will post the new version on this page and update the effective date at the top. Please review it periodically.
